Our goal this fall is to have all associations schedule “Try Hockey for Free” events starting in September-through November. USA Hockey's Try Hockey For Free Days (Nov 4, 2023 & February 24, 2024)  are designed to provide youth hockey associations with a national platform to introduce new kids to the sport.

We do understand that the national platform will not work for everyone and you may need to customize an event to your needs. However we expect each association to host a “Try Hockey for Free Event” this fall at some level. The purpose of the try hockey event is to try to bring in new families and sign them up into a house like program or into your 8U program.
