Growing The Game

Promote-Grow-Develop

We need more Youth Hockey Ambassadors in our community, We need people in our programs getting NEW kids involved in hockey.  Being a Youth Hockey Ambassador is not recruiting kids from other programs, but recruiting NEW kids and families to the sport of hockey.

Let's work together and help promote the game of hockey in our communities and let’s bring new kids to the rinks!

Grow the Game Grants

VSAHA's grant program has evolved for the 2025-2026 season.  We will be offering grants in the following categories.  Associations interested in applying for a grant(s) must complete the Growth Grant Form.  In addition to completing the form, associations must also make sure to earn as many points as they can.  The more points an association earns the better chance of earning the grant(s) they desire.

Associations can earn points to earn grant money they are requesting, monthly and end of year awards.  The more points you have the better chance of getting a grant.  Points will be accumulated by association actions.  Points can possibly be turned into other rewards such as state tournament discount, equipment, etc.  Each association is encouraged to share any progress with VSAHA officers via social media posts or direct communication.  Opportunities to earn points may be updated as needed.  This is a new program and details will be continued to worked out.  If you have an idea to improve this, let us know.
